Dustbin | Definition of Dustbin | Types of Dustbin 

The word Dustbin came from two words Dust and Bin .Dust is used here to denote garbage or waste that came out of any place and Bin denote the container.

So Dustbin stands for,a container which is used  to manage garbage,trash or umwanted material /items.

To make our surrounding neat and clean we use many types of dustbins,the dustbins are of many shapes,sizes and colours.But,do you know  dustbin of which colour is used for which material.

Here I will tell you about types of Dustbins and their use depending upon their colour.

डस्टबिन | डस्टबिन की परिभाषा 

डस्टबिन शब्द दो शब्दों डस्ट और बिन से आया है। डस्ट का उपयोग यहाँ कचरा या कचरे को दर्शाने के लिए किया जाता है जो किसी भी स्थान से निकलता है और बिन कंटेनर को निरूपित करता है। तो डस्टबिन एक कंटेनर है जो कचरा, कचरा या umwanted सामग्री / वस्तुओं का प्रबंधन करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। 

अपने आस-पास को साफ और स्वच्छ बनाने के लिए हम कई प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग करते हैं, डस्टबिन कई आकार, प्रकार और रंग के होते हैं।

 यहां मैं आपको उनके रंग के आधार पर डस्टबिन के प्रकार और उनके उपयोग के बारे में बताऊंगा।

Here I will tell you about types of dustbins used in three types of waste material as follows :-

1.     Biomedical Waste

2.     Industrial Waste

3.     Household waste

डस्टबिन के प्रकार क्या हैं | डस्टबिन का रंग क्या हैं 

यहाँ मैं आपको तीन प्रकार के अपशिष्ट पदार्थों में इस्तेमाल होने वाले डस्टबिन के प्रकारों के बारे में बताऊंगा जो इस प्रकार से हैं: - 

1. बायोमेडिकल वेस्ट 

2. औद्योगिक अपशिष्ट 

3. घरेलू कचरा

Dustbins used for Biomedical Waste

For Bioedical waste five types of dustbins are used :-

1.  White 

2.   Black

3.   Red

4.   Yellow

5.    Blue

6.    Green

Uses of Dustbins as per colour.

1.    White :-  This dustbin is used to manage chemical,cytotoxic drugs and domestic hazardous waste like needles without syringe,anything sharp like blades,metal articles,broken thermameters etc.

2.     Black :- This dustbin is used to manage Non infected waste like sanitary napkins,diapers,blades,bandages,CFL,tube light,printer cartridges and batteries etc.

3.    Red :-  This dustbin is used to manage solid waste like IV tube bottle,Plastic bags,syringes without needles, fluid blood, microbiology and biotech waste,cloths and bed sheets etc.

4.    Yellow :- This type of dustbins are used anatomical waste material like things in contact with body fluids, human wastage,damaged organs,cotton,bandage and clinical waste etc.

5.    Blue :- This type of dustbins are used to manage broken bottles, ampules, medicine bottles and other broken glass items.

6.    Green :- This type if dustbins are used to manage kitchen waste like papers, tissues , water bottles , cans , unused vegetables and waste food.

डस्टबिन जिन का उपयोग बायोमेडिकल वेस्ट के लिए किया जाता है 

जैव चिकित्सा अपशिष्ट के लिए पांच प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग किया जाता है: - 

1. सफ़ेद 

2. काला 

3. लाल 

4. पीला 

5. नीला 

6.  हरा

रंग के अनुसार डस्टबिन का उपयोग

1. श्वेत: - इस डस्टबिन का उपयोग रासायनिक, साइटोटोक्सिक दवाओं और घरेलू खतरनाक कचरे जैसे कि सिरिंज के बिना सुइयों, ब्लेड जैसे तेज, धातु के लेख, टूटे थर्मामीटर आदि के प्रबंधन के लिए किया जाता है। 

2. काला: - इस डस्टबिन का उपयोग नॉन संक्रमित कचरे जैसे सैनिटरी नैपकिन, डायपर, ब्लेड, पट्टियाँ, सीएफएल, ट्यूब लाइट, प्रिंटर कारतूस और बैटरी आदि के प्रबंधन के लिए किया जाता है। 

3. लाल: - इस डस्टबिन का उपयोग ठोस अपशिष्ट जैसे IV ट्यूब बोतल, प्लास्टिक बैग, सुई के बिना सीरिंज, द्रव रक्त, माइक्रोबायोलॉजी और बायोटेक अपशिष्ट, कपड़ा और चादर आदि का प्रबंधन करने के लिए किया जाता है। 

4. पीला: - इस प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग शरीर के अपशिष्ट पदार्थों जैसे शरीर के तरल पदार्थ, मानव अपव्यय, क्षतिग्रस्त अंगों, कपास, पट्टी और नैदानिक ​​अपशिष्ट आदि के संपर्क में किया जाता है। 

5. नीला: - इस प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग टूटी हुई बोतलों, ampules, दवा की बोतलों और अन्य टूटी कांच की वस्तुओं के प्रबंधन के लिए किया जाता है।

6.  हरा :-  इस प्रकार यदि डस्टबिन का उपयोग रसोई के कचरे जैसे कि कागज, ऊतक, पानी की बोतल, डिब्बे, अप्रयुक्त सब्जियों और अपशिष्ट भोजन का प्रबंधन करने के लिए किया जाता है।

औद्योगिक कचरे के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले डस्टबिन

 छह प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग विभिन्न प्रकार के इंडस्ट्रियल कचरे के प्रबंधन के लिए किया जाता है 

1. नीला - कागज 

2. हरा - कांच 

3. पीला-प्लास्टिक

4. लाल - धातु 

5. काला - खाद्य पदार्थ

Dustbins used in household waste

Three types of dustbins are used to manage household waste

1.   Blue - Dry waste,acarbonic waste,papers

2. Green - Wet waste, food, vegetables and fruits etc.

3. Red - Chemical, bandage ,injections and plastic material

घरेलू कचरे में इस्तेमाल होने वाले डस्टबिन 

घरेलू कचरे के प्रबंधन के लिए तीन प्रकार के डस्टबिन का उपयोग किया जाता है 

1. नीला - सूखा कचरा, एसार्बोनिक कचरा, कागज 

2. हरा - गीला कचरा, भोजन, सब्जियां और फल आदि। 

3. लाल - रासायनिक, पट्टी, इंजेक्शन और प्लास्टिक सामग्री

Different methods of treating/ disposal of waste material

1.    Incineration - Distruction by burning.

2.    Deep Burrial

3.    Autoclaving - Sterilising, treatment by high pressure steam,boiling water and by the use of disinfactant.

4.    Microwaving - Treatment of waste by microwave energy.

5.     Chemical treatment - Use of chemicals for oxidation,reduction,precipitation and neutralization.

6.    Disposal in secured landfills

अपशिष्ट पदार्थ के उपचार / निपटान के विभिन्न तरीके 

1. भस्म - जलने से विक्षेप। 

2. गहराई में दबाना

3. आटोक्लेविंग - स्टरलाइज़ करना, उच्च दबाव वाली भाप द्वारा उपचार करना, उबलते पानी से और कीटाणुनाशक के उपयोग से। 

4. माइक्रोवेविंग - माइक्रोवेव ऊर्जा द्वारा कचरे का उपचार। 

5. रासायनिक उपचार - ऑक्सीकरण, कमी, वर्षा और न्यूनीकरण के लिए रसायनों का उपयोग।
